Welcome to the Be Fearless Foundation—a space rooted in love, remembrance, and purpose. While this blog will support those who are grieving, we'd first like to share our origin and mission.

If you’ve explored our site, you may have read Bodee’s story—he was truly unforgettable, living with a rare kind of fearlessness and love. After losing him—and watching other close friends endure the same unimaginable loss—we learned something powerful: grieving families don’t want their children to be forgotten.

While many people hesitate to bring up a child who has passed, those memories are a gift. Speaking their names, sharing their stories—that’s how we keep them alive.

The Be Fearless Foundation was created to honor Bodee’s life, where Bodee's life is the umbrella for the organization, and Bodee's Buddies (other children we've lost too soon) are the spokes. We only have one Buddy for now, to begin small, Cooper Lins, who was a 7-year-old with an unforgettable spirit similar to Bodee.

Our mission is to create recreational opportunities for kids who might otherwise go without. Growing up, my family couldn’t afford the extracurricular activities I longed to try. As a parent, I was able to give my own children those experiences (such as youth teams, tumbling, club sports, Ninja Warrior training, and a waterskiing team). With this came camps, new shoes, equipment, dues and travel.

My kids had access to it all. —and I saw just how memorable and developmental they were. I couldn't help but wonder, 'What about those children in our communities who don't have access to any kind of recreation? What do their lives look like outside of school?'

So we started small. Partnering with a local Boys & Girls Club, we raised funds to reward students for their school attendance and turning in homework timely with a ziplining trip. For some, it was the experience of a lifetime. Who doesn't need some extra motivation when your life is difficult?

Today, the Be Fearless Foundation aims to bring that same motivation, access, joy, and development to more children, all in memory of those we’ve lost too soon. If you feel moved to contribute to our organization, you can do so here, whether one-time or monthly. If you just want to come along on our adventure, follow our social media sites below, or subscribe to our blog.

We hope to bring on other Bodee's Buddies in the future, raising money to support the kind, fearless fun their child enjoyed, but in the meantime, we begin with Bodee and Cooper. They are young people that at age 56, I'm still aspiring to be like.
